Occupational & Physical Therapy for Adults and Pediatrics
Learn from us all about OT in the adult and pediatric settings in Peoria, AZ.
SHARKKS Therapy is a family-owned business that values our interns and does its best to provide a well-rounded clinical experience. We are a two-part clinic with adults and pediatrics, with therapists who are trained to work with both populations.
Our philosophy of OT is "body, mind, and soul" with a biomechanical focus. Bring your knowledge, and we'll give you the experience. See our study guide and FAQ below.
At SHARKKS Therapy, we specialize in treating a variety of conditions, including back pain, neck pain, and joint pain. Our team of physical therapists has extensive experience working with patients of all ages and backgrounds.
Megan is a master-level OT student at Midwestern University. She got her start in OT as a patient and ended up applying for OT school soon after discharging. She is excited to be graduating in October but is taking her time to learn as much as she can from her rotation at SHARKKS. In her precious free time, Megan enjoys spending time with her friends, drawing, and playing with her cat, Juni.
Megan is an Occupational Therapy Assistant student at Pima Medical Institute in Mesa, AZ. Originally from Montana, she moved to Arizona in 2023 to pursue new opportunities and a fresh start. Megan was inspired to return to school to pursue a meaningful career in occupational therapy, where she could help others regain independence and improve their quality of life through compassionate, hands-on care. She is especially interested in working with individuals recovering from injury or illness, as well as supporting children with developmental needs. Outside of school, Megan enjoys spending time outdoors with her golden doodle, Phoebe and relaxing with friends. She values connection, creativity, and continual growth—both personally and professionally.
